The former deli next to Chianti has transformed into a sophisticated tapas bar with a quality fit out and quality food. It’s brought to us by the Favaro family of Chianti fame, and it’s truly a family affair with son and daughter Nick and Jess running the place. It has a contemporary look and feel with a combination of exposed brick, black and white, and attention to the little things like the plates and cutlery.
With a well-stocked bar running along the left hand side as you walk in and a good selection of small and larger tapas offerings, it’s a great place to get together for eats and drinks.
Hutt Street needed a place like this – it’s a very welcome addition to the strip which already boasts Chianti (of course) for great Italian, Golden Dragon Palace Seafood Restaurant for excellent Chinese, and Louca’s Seafood Grill for a good platter.
That lasagne looks amazing!
